Banana Bread



3/4 stick of butter, melted (1/2 cup)
1/4 cup butter shortening
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
4 eggs
1 tablespoon raw blue agave sweetener
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 cup sour cream
6 very ripe bananas, mashed


  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Grease and flour a bunt pan.
  3. In a large bowl, blend together the melted butter, shortening clean and sugars. Add the eggs, blue agave and blend to a smooth consistency.
  4. Mix together the flour and baking soda. Add to the batter and stir to blend. Fold in the bananas and sour cream and mix until combined.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool until warm before serving
